Candle Supplies
When you are going to make a candle you need a few things. You are going to need a mold, some wax, and a wick. If you are going to color the wax then you need some wax coloring. If you want to make the wax smell good then you are going to need some fragrance oils.
When you are going to make a candle you need to have the wax. You should go to a nearby craft store and get some candle wax. Then you have to heat it up and melt it to the point where you can pour the wax without it still being solid, you just need it all to be in a liquid state. If you want to have the candle colored you have to add the colored wax in while you are in the melting process.
Then you have to get your mold ready. You can use just about anything you want. You have to have your wick in the mold ready, and then pour the wax in around it. Or you could pour the wax in and then push the wick through to the bottom.
Then when you are done with pouring the wax you have to carefully push the wax down to get rid of any air bubbles that might have formed while you were pouring. After that you have to push down with a toothpick (or something like that) around the wick so that the air gets out from around the wick. When your wax begins to cool, it will shrink and you will have to add more wax where it pulled away from the sides or where it fell around the wick.
Candle making supplies are easy to find. Any local craft store carries everything you will need to make a candle. They have kits, or you can just buy everything separate. You might want to buy a special pan to use when melting the wax since you might end up ruining it.
