First Aid Supplies
When you are going to go for an outdoor trip you should go and make sure that you make a good first aid kit. To do this you have to think of who is going with you and if the people going with have any medical allergies.
You should always have bandages in your kit. This way you don't have to worry about finding something to put on an open blister or a cut. Bandages keep the air off a cut so it can heal better. You also need some tape. Should somebody break a finger, you want to have tape handy to tape the broken finger to another finger to improve healing. Or you could need to tape a cut up if it is too big for a bandage or you could put a bandage on a cut and then tape over it to make sure it stays in place.
Putting some burn treatment in your first aid kit it is great idea. Depending on the type of trip, you may have a fire as a source of heat, or to even cook your food. Whenever there is a fire, there is the possibility of somebody getting badly burned. Preparing for a bad burn is the best idea as burns can sometimes be quite bad.
You should always have some kind of support brace or splint. That way, if someone breaks something you can put a splint on it so that they can still walk to get out of the wilderness or to get back to a populated area that has a hospital.
If you are going camping in a desolate area with other people, ask them for suggestions for what to put in the kit. They may need a special medication in case of emergency, or might have other ideas that you may not have thought of. It would also be a good idea to have more than one kit in case of extreme emergencies.
