Paintball SuppliesFor paintball supplies there are many things you can get. You do need some specific things, but you definitely don't need state of the art technology. Getting a regular loader that's just gravity feed will be fine if you are doing it for recreation. It will still load the gun just as fast as you shoot your gun, more then a ball per second. The only thing you really need for paintballing other then the paintball gun and paintballs is a protective mask and goggles. As long as you have your protective mask and goggles then you can play and not have to worry about serious injuries. Then next think that isn't a necessity, but you may want anyway is a new barrel. You can have a long barrel or you can have a short barrel, but the longer the barrel, the more accurate it shoots. You can have rifled barrels or non barrels, as with a longer barrel, rifled barrels will give you a more accurate shot. If you are first starting out on paintballing you should look for a gun that is reliable. This way you can get used to paintball guns and not have to worry about if something is going to break or if you have to replace this part or that part. I would say that you would want to get a Tippman or a Spyder. They are two reliable guns and a good choice for beginners. As always, because this is a paintball gun, you power to make the ball shoot. And that is where CO2 comes in. You need to buy a CO2 tank with your gun. You can get a refillable tank that you can use over and over. A 12 oz. tank is big enough for a game, but you can always buy a bigger one. So after you have your protective gear and your gun and a CO2 tank then you are ready to just go have fun with it. You should go to a local place and play a few games. But you should never shoot the paintball gun at someone that is not playing with you or at someone that isn't wearing any eye protection.
